Yeyyyyy šŸ‘Æā€ā™€ļø . It’s my very first #DearDesigner post šŸŽ‰ šŸŽ‰ šŸŽ‰ šŸŽ‰ !

Let’s talk about MINIMALISM!

Dear Designer,

Minimalism is not just a pretty/buzzword we like to toss around to sound sleek and sophisticated — It is actually a thing, a core principle in design and it’s worth paying attention to.

I get it. You’ve crafted that screen with pride šŸ˜Ž , harnessing all the art and creativity you could muster, brilliantly squeezing a 1000 things into one screen. It’s your masterpiece! But I can tell you for free, while you see art, your users are seeing… chaos šŸ˜µā€šŸ’« 🤯 .

Studies have shown that the more options you throw at users, the longer they’ll take to make a decision — or worse, they’ll just give up.

So yes, minimalism makes the screen clean, clear, and somewhat ā€œprettyā€, but more importantly, it’s about GUIDING users to the right choices with clarity and ease. So, keep things focused. Include what truly matters on each screen, let the design breathe, and trust that less really does achieve more. šŸŒ¬ļø
